Sterling Silver / white Enamel 7 mm. Stamped with post 1945 Hallmarks. Delivered in a original Georg Jensen box. The Marguerite/Daisy has a great symbolic value for the Danish and Swedish royal houses, due to Queen Margrethe's grandmother, Crown Princess Margaretha of Sweden.

The crown princess was also called Daisy and at Queen Ingrid's wedding in 1935 with King Frederik d. 9 she was given a jeweled Marguerite in memory of her mother. Later the Marguerite, was created in 1940 by A. Michelsen to celebrate the birth of Princess (later Queen) Margrethe and was later produced by Geog Jensen. Inspired by this original, the Danish fashion designer Stine Goya later created the Daisy collection for Georg Jensen.
